The collection examines the symbolism of love, nostalgia and remembrance.

I am intrigued by the symbolic language of flowers. The more common meanings we know today arose during the Victorian era. However, many other meanings go back as far as Mediaeval times and some have their roots in pagan beliefs.

Like my Goddesses and female figures, hearts and flowers are motifs that continually pop up in my work. They are ever evolving and gaining new meanings. Often these pieces are very intricate because they have a connection to memories of special people, times and places.
